i love that counsell got a standing ovation last night and then got a base hit. classy brewers fans will remember it was his bases loaded walk in the final game of the 2008 season that set the stage for ryan braun.

Counsell's walk tied the game at 1. Braun got his HR the next inning to give us a two run lead. I'm not sure I'd say he "set the stage" and until you mentioned it, the thought had completely been erased from my memory.
