Baseball America's latest Hot Sheet

 

Three Brewers make the list with another one in the honorable mention category.

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

It's great seeing Wily Peralta starting to dominate again after a slow start and most importantly, keeping the walks down. As for walks, it'd be nice to see Rivera take some more and keep the strikeouts down but it's hard to find much else to complain about when looking at his numbers (errors maybe). Thornburg.....gotta keep those walks down because he looks pretty unhittable otherwise. It's nice to see such a strong 1-2 punch pitching wise in the system and hopefully Bradley, Jungmann and Lopez can add to it once they sign.
