I have a sinking feeling that we see a walkoff in the next 5 minutes. And it will spark a nosedive to take a potentially very nice roadtrip into the hellish variety.

I really want to be wrong, but I'm in pessimism mode right now.

Yeah, game's like this usually make me feel that way also. Mainly because they usually turn out with us losing. Also, Gomez with a fractured clavicle. Bummer.

And a fractured left clavicle for Gomez. More pessimism to go around...

I really don't even like the 100 pitch thing... it's completely arbitrary, most established MLB starting pitchers could probably push up to 120 every start without a problem. Max pitch count will vary by pitcher, start, weather, etc.. I haven't seen a single study proving that 100 pitches was the correct average threshold for MLB starting pitchers.

Yeah, but 100 pitches has 3 numbers and the others only have 2.

Prediction: 3 more pitches to the walkoff.

Well that was a bad pitch Saito... please don't them steal one.

If Narveson was tired after 87 pitches with no more than 15 in a single inning, then he should get his arm checked out and consider a trip to the DL. Because he wasn't in a single stressful situation the whole night.
