Great win tonight. That being said, I never used to have an issue with AZ fans...until tonight. We had an older gentleman sitting a couple rows in front of us who decided it would be a wise idea to threaten physical harm upon us in the 8th inning because according to him we were being "inconsiderate" by cheering loudly for our team. Long story short, we got escorted out by the rent a cops where MCSO and PPD were waiting for us, I relayed the threat of violence towards us and the PD said they would handle it, we were moved to another section (better seats anyways) and this gentleman was removed from the stadium, all the while saying "im a season ticket holder".

Edit: off subject, but the attendance broke 19,000 tonight. lol.

Not surprising at all. Aside from the physical threats that happened to me and 4 buddies at a game at Chase. Best part, they were playing the Cubs so we were cheering for the DBACKS. We had an usher come down and say that we were being too loud in our support of the team as a result of the old guy sitting in front of us complaining to the usher.. I told him that where we're from, there is no such thing as cheering too loud for your team. The usher said, "Well we're not where you're from." Apparently not... We were apparently sitting in a season ticket area because once others in the area heard what was going on, they started ripping on "Hank" and the section got pretty rowdy. All in all it ended up being a fun experience at the expense of Hank.

sorry to hear about that AirShuttle. Where were you sitting?

The LF bleachers were really good last night, short of the "Tatman" college kids having difficulty coming up with anything really original to taunt Braun or anybody else with.

Fun game overall. I understood the move to bring in K-Rod, based on what someone else posted as well. Sure, he was pitching VERY well, but historically Narveson is a wildfire ready to happen any time after the 5th inning. Plus, we picked up K-Rod for just such a situation. And he hasn't pitched in several days.

The bottom of the ninth had a tragic feel to it but they got away with it.

Prince Fielder is really pressing at the plate big time. I think he is hearing the boos and even if he says it's not, it is affecting him. I believe I saw him slamming his helmet around the dugout after the double play in the 10th. He really needs to get back home where the fans are cheering for him.

I stated this in the Braun Calf Injury thread, but Ryan was constantly stretching in LF the entire game and still had a very noticeable limp when just walking around.

All right. One more game for us. We're in row 2 just past the Brewer dugout tonight.

pitchleague, we were right next to the Brewers bullpen, section 108. I guess its just a cultural difference between other teams and the AZ fans. They seemed to get really hyped up over routine fly balls, yet remained lifeless on doubles and scoring plays. I also agree about the boos getting to Prince. He just seems to be swinging for the fences at every AB. I would love to see him get ahold of one though just to quiet the boo-birds.
