SoCal,

Do you think RRR thinks that in depth......I'm beginning to think not. I like that idea though. I think Gallardo has a big night tonight 7 innings 2 runs no earned on a yuni b error. Casey McGhee homers........Other then that I won't predict the score. Let's see how off I am.

Umm, don't know if anything has been posted about this post but this was amazingly close.

Gibson just got a lefty throwing in the bullpen in case Prince gets up again. There's 2 outs in the 9th in an 11-3 game. Got to give him credit for not giving up.

McGehee may be turning around, but this is clearly a fluke for Yuni.
Yuni's 2010 numbers and career average suggest that he was also due for improvement. I still wonder how he gets it done with that terrible swing, but his offense was never really the concern anyway.

Yuni was on a tear. 2 home runs on two different pitchers. Looks like he may just keep his job after all. Scrap the SS search now.

There are just too many haters calling this a fluke. For god sakes, what does the poor guy have to do?

Great game tonight, sported the new T Plush shirt. Dbacks fans were still booing Prince and Rickie's AB's tonight. Yet another weak crowd turnout tonight. Last night was just under 18k as was tonight. This has nothing to do with it being a weeknight, this is a typical crowd unless they have some kind of giveaway. Like another poster mentioned,PHX just isnt a baseball town.

first off, we were in first row of RF bleachers tonight. Made a wrong post last night saying we'd be in LF (that's on Wednesday, I mixed up the nights) so I apologize for any of you straining to see me on all those HRs to left since I was nowhere near then. They were all launched, though, and fun to watch.

Much better game (obviously) but the crowd of 17,000 and change for the 2nd straight night was pretty pathetic. Lots of good Brewer fan representation again. (Airshuttle, I think I saw you in Sliders after the game. We were sitting at a table right next to a guy in the T-Plush shirt.)

Fans tonight in the RF bleachers were well behaved and much more fun and easier to talk to than those people by the dugout. Almost saw Prince take off the head of some 8-year old kid trying to catch a line drive BP homer. That was pretty scary but the kid just missed the ball and it clanked off the bleacher.

My wife says that she gets all the credit for Casey's 3-hit game since she was sporting her McGehee jersey T-shirt.

Brandon Allen's HR was an absolute bomb. It almost made the upper deck in right field which is incredible.

Most fans around us were pretty sure that both Enright and Brazoban would be heading to Sky Harbor Airport after the game to head back to Reno.

Okay, that's all for now. LF bleachers (for sure) tomorrow night. Go Brewers!

Hurray for the bf.netters who were at Chase Field tonight!

Thank you Hawing,

We did have a great time at Chase field tonight (thank goodness we picked tonight instead of yesterday) . This was my sisters first time at Chase field; she immediately noticed the crowd (or lack thereof) and wondered why a team in a pennant chase would only draw 17k (with a goodly percentage being Brewers fans). While I don't want to color a whole fan base with a particular slant, I also do not understand how a team that is in a fight for the division lead with 5 times the population of MKE can draw 17k two days in a row. We saw fans just arriving in the 4th and leaving before the 7th. I am sure Chris Carpenter would have a hard time explaining this to his son. I would like to say that this is an isolated incident, but it is not; while this town is more than big enough for its own baseball team, it does not have a large enough indigenous fanbase to support MLB average attendance numbers.
