6th straight win on my birthday, thank you Brewers.

Lucky, the Brewers are 1-6 on my birthday (9/19) since 2003.
Happy birthday, ilovebeer. The Brewers are 0-0-1 lifetime on my (late February) birthday, but at least Corey hit a dinger in that 2009 spring training opener!
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

So does Greinke have to put in a whole season of mediocre pitching before Brewers homers realize he's vastly overrated?
maybe it's just me, but I'm pretty content with 6 IP, 0 ER and 8 K.
Agreed. I also noticed at the beginning of Brewers live FSN had "Greinke Good Enough" on their graphic. 0 ER over 6 innings sure seems better than "Good enough" to me.

Felt that I just stepped into the Twilight Zone here on the post game. First, I heard 'The Unit' do not only a voice over, but a quasi endorsement for Chevy dealers. Then, seconds later- as part of the Wisconsin Dells promo, for the first time ever on TV, I saw a guy with a worse golf swing than mine- he hit a horrible duck hook that went about 15 yards into the weeds. I thought it was some sort of joke, but no punchline. Anyone else catch that?

Also, I missed the "DPR" nickname for Roenicke. What does that stand for?

Dread Pirate Roenicke. As I watch the game I find myself saying inconceivable at so many of the things he does.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

I'm not sure what people expected from him, his ERA is high but he's striking people out. If if you don't buy the extended metrics stuff, you've got to be able to look at how's he pitching and at least feel a little positive going forward. This is way better than Doug Davis or whatever other scrap heap arm they would have run out there last season.

Bingo. I didn't get to watch the whole game last night, but Greinke looked pretty good to me. I think he's slowly getting better this season.
