Braun is not healthy. Not even close. He's running at about 80% and the calf is affecting his swing. Given how poorly everyone else iin the division is playing I don't know why they just didn't DL him. There is a fair chance he won't be right all year because he keeps playing on it.
I agree that he's a little slow running, but his swing looks fine. The calf didn't make him swing at that pitch a foot off the plate. Braun at 80% is fine, we need him.
I think the upper half looks fine, but it looks to me like his bottom half is just a bit out of synch. Wish I had video capability to compare. Seems like something is just "off" a bit, like he's more arms with his swing than he normally is.

I disagree. How you fix it is bring up Green and trade for even a modest upgrade at SS. One should have been done a month ago, the other can't wait another month.
I would agree, but McGehee and Yuni arent the sole reason they are losing. Pitching, has been more of a killer then the offense.

Query.......if you never score.....does it matter who your closer is?
That's why you'll never see me championing any trade for a reliever, build the other areas of your roster first.

It wasn't Narvy, but the every other inning trend continues.

The Rockies radio announcers are obsessed with errors, apparently. Every game they talk about, they're talking about errors.

They did take the time to discuss YuniB's "significant lack of range for a major league shortstop," though.

So, you're saying that when the Mets called Melvin and offered him K-Rod, Melvin should have said: "Sorry, call me back in few weeks, I have to build up the left side of infield first."

The Brewers could leave Mil in first place and come home out of the race and sellers.

Wow.....some of you have just lost your mind.

This team is still the best team in the division and the 2nd best team in the NL

Have you watched them play on the road this year? After this series they are going to play 2 series against progressively better teams then the one they are getting beaten up by. What have they done to give any type of optimism?

"This team is still the best team in the division and the 2nd best team in the NL" - This was suppose to be in blue correct?

Yea it's tough being out here in crazyville...

Then again, maybe some of us fall into the cautiously optimistic category and are willing to call a spade as such when we see it. I don't see how it's fair to claim the Brewers are the 2nd best team in the NL when they likely won't be in first of their own division after the game. Maybe on paper or looking at the team with Brewer goggles, but this team still has plenty of holes even after all the trades Melvin has made.

Not if they can't win on the road all year. If they keep on this pace on the road, theyll finish in 4th place...because surely their home record won't stay this lopsided.

The Brewers are not the 2nd best team in the national league.

They are one of the best teams in the national league at home and one of the worst(if not the worst) on the road........

Hard to talk about how good they are when they have a negative run differential on the season.

I'm saying 30 innings of K-Rod will have the same effect as 30 innings of Linebrink. You don't fix what's wrong with the team in 30 innings. If the Brewers manage 2 draft picks out of the deal and don't have to give up anything significant then the trade was alright, it's just not a season changing move. If we give up someone like Kris Davis I'll be livid... It's impossible to rate the trade without knowing what the Brewers actually gave up. I don't give a hoot about acquiring name players, I care about talent and ultimate value, which is why I usually find myself on other side of the argument from most of the posters on this site, and why I have no use for Melvin in general.

I don't know how good/bad they are, but I know they are boring. I'm not saying this just to be annoying. This has got to be the least interesting Brewer team to watch in several seasons, which is disappointing because I expected they'd be fun this year.

Edit: Axford isn't boring.

You may run like Mays...
