If the NL wins without the AL taking the lead (even if the NL scores more runs), I gotta believe Prince wins the MVP since he put them on the board first.

These announcers make me feel a lot more thankful to have BA, Rock, Cirillo, Craig Coshun, heck even Jerry Augustine. Just awful. They're trying to get their little stories in, and it's almost like Prince's 3 run shot screwed up their script.

This was only the second extra base hit by a Brewer in an All Star Game, correct? The first being a double by Burnitz in 1999.

Didn't Prince hit a double in '09?

Now that you mention it, I think I remember him hitting one down the left field line. I could be mistaken, though.

I was hoping for a Jonathan Lucroy late-April type of base-running play. You know, like Castro gets into a pickle and Weeks just keeps running until Castro is tagged out and then Weeks gets tagged out halfway between second and third, all while playing that song from South Park they play during the "Animals Through a Wide-Angle Lens" show.

I always knew Heath Bell was cool but the fact that he gave away a Yoda backpack with memorabilia just raised him a few notches in my book.

Most depressing ASG ever? For pete's sake, try having at least one fun non-game related thing.

No kidding. I thought bringing up the Tucson incident might have been a bad call. I guess it wasn't terrible, but on the heels of the booing, and Buck's subdued delivery, the whole thing just set a somber mood to what is supposed to be a celebration. And hey, let's throw cancer into the mix! If you have to bring it up, pay homage to the lost, but then celebrate the survivors and hope that we can beat these things in the future.

I also never remove my cap. I do it as my protest to the singing of GBA. Right around the time we started doing GBA every week, we had to stop doing a 2nd round of Roll Out the Barrel. We were told that the 7th inning stretch was taking too long.

And what's up with Bell trying to steal Coffey's schtick?

EA Sports...It's in the game...until we arbitrarily decide to shut off the server.
