I absolutely loathe driving to Chicago, but Portishead are one of the very few bands I'll make the trip for. If the Aragon Ballroom tickets haven't gone on sale yet, it can't be sold out, can it? I see no mention on either the theater website or Ticketmaster's.

There were a limited amount of pre-sale tix on their website. Gone now. I don't know how I lucked out.

I fully expect hipsters like you to be standing next to my mailbox waiting. I live in the suburbs now, so it's legal for me to shoot them. I may bait a few bear traps with warm PBR and Tecate.

I went to a show there a couple years ago and could park on the street just a few blocks away for free. There are side streets that are pretty residential close to the venue. It's not like you have to go right downtown or anything.
