I know Chapman has a tendency to be wild sometimes, but man is his stuff flat out nasty. 100+ with a hard breaking 92 mph slider

How did the Reds beat out all of the other teams out there for Chapman's services?

Maybe Braun can pinch hit in the 9th and hit a walk off.

It sounds like they're afraid to use him because if he doesn't respond well by Thursday, they could put him on DL retroactive to last Sunday and he'd only have to sit out 7 more days.

Now you see the difference between their Left who nasty and our who plan stinks.

I'm getting very tired of Braddock's ineffectiveness as well. I think finding a lefty out of the pen not named Herrera has to be a priority for Doug at the deadline.

DM's needs to address: 1) A lhp who consistently gets out lefties 2) A ss with a good glove and at least a pulse at the plate 3) A good bench bat to replace Counsell (Wilson can more than fill Craig's shoes to play the utility IF role).

Make it happen Doug. You didn't go "All In" with Marcum and Greinke to not improve the team now did you?

Wow, what is going on with Braddock? Is this sleep thing really that bad?

With him, it's all mental. Literally.

Why is his fastball 5-6 MPH slower?
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

It looks they have a robot that somehow detects suspect material and deletes it right away.

What if somebody messed with the robot's page? It would probably explode.

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

IMO, they should have DL'd him right after the injury. His type of injury is a nagging one and one that you knew that he was going to be missing some games from. Why weaken our bench by having him unavailable to play and yet using a roster spot?

Those are all easier said than done. If you listen to the board Wilson and Boggs could do the last two immediately. Which is completely wrong but are said quite often. They are just tough things to add without having great prospects and a bunch of money to spend. We really have neither. I would say just look for a solid bullpen arm and just live with the weak spots we have. That is what you should expect at least.
