I hate the idea of Betancourt leading off an inning against a wild Cordero. Cordero throws one to the backstop the first pitch and Yuni swings at the following pitch. I'd say unbelievable, but it really is just expected at this point.

The Brewers have really been screwing with both Gamel and Green.
Gamel this year to a point, previous years were on him. Green I dont really understand how they are screwing with him.

Maybe that he is killing it in AAA while we are enduring half a season of sub .600 OPS from our #5 hitter when we have the talent to win the division?

Not sure its screwing with them, but that might be what beer means.

His FB is actually down a bit this year, at 97.9 MPH average. I'm really happy Melvin didn't spend $30 million on Chapman.
Hehe... spending 30 million on 3 years of Wolf (possibly 40 million over 4) is better than spending 30 million on 6 years of Chapman is it?

its only that much if Chapman does squat in the majors. As soon as he becomes arby eligible he gets a bonus and goes into arbitration

I'm shocked we're seeing Cordero again today, wouldn't mind hanging another los on him.

Nyjer Morgan over 99% of the rest of the players in the MLB if it's the 8th or 9th inning and a close game
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

I love our manager's logic. Kotsay has one big hit all season, but it was this weekend, therefore he will be awesome every night? Also, YuBet- look at how a walk can be had fairly easily from a clearly wild reliever.

who else would you have pinch hitting here?

edit: how's two big hits work for you?
