Great win ... But quick question - why even flip the ball to prince on that last play when you are 3 steps from just tagging the bag yourself?

Just padding Prince's putout stats.

But seriously; I agree with you. Not hard to just keep trotting over to the base.

Never a doubt. The lucky polo was out in full force, hawing can confirm.

Nice to see the Brewers get a win against the Reds. Finish the first half strong. Hopefully the D-Backs can help us out tonight, too.

Couldn't disagree more. BA is in well into the upper quartile of PBP guys. Rock is a homer, but he's our homer.
That's pretty much how I feel. Rock occasionally does say some stupid stuff, but most color guys do. I'll take our duo over a lot of the other schmucks out there.

Great game to be at tonight. Let the retro mojo live on!

I agree. I was at the game last night. Was a fun game. Lots of Reds fans in attendance. Made for a real tense end of the game.

Keep wearing the retro!

Yeah.. there is definately worse out there.... Joe Morgan comes to mind....

But i wouldnt mind have a few different guys in there once and a while to switch it up...

Zuan, Jenkins, could be entertaining.

I was at the game and there was a ground ball in the bottom of the third inning that went right past McGehee and Betancourt. Neither made any effort whatsoever to try fielding it. Did that look as bad on TV as it did in person?

I blame Wang.

Just watched it, and McGehee broke to 3rd for some reason, otherwise, he should have been able to make that play. That was a long way Yuni to go, even if he had range to that side.

Yeah I didn't know how close Yuni was but I though it would have been an easy play for McGehee. My guess is McGehee was going to cover 3B in case of a steal attempt, I think.(nevermind, it was the pitcher at 2B, Mcgehee must have had a brain fart or something) I am sure part of the frustration on my part was watching two botched caught stealings the previous inning and watching their pitcher hit a double.
