I really didn't want to beat this drum again, but what exactly are we wasting Gamel's service time for as he sits on the bench? He's the most misused player in the recent history of this franchise, they've literally gotten no return out of his year + service time. Wasted service time pinch hitting, then an injury, now pinch hitting again... Horrible value.

It's obvious RR is in love with this guy and it was a joke that some people thought Kotsay was a DFA candidate when Saito was recalled. You don't go from teacher's pet to the detention hall overnight.
