2011-07-04 Diamondbacks at Brewers -- [Brewers give away 6-1 leads on consecutive days, lose 8-6]

the vent thread needs to be brought back

Roenicke makes me long for Ned Yost and Grandpa Ken

hopefully Doug remembers what he did to Yost a week before the season was over

But the players love RR...

Keep hitting Loe. I hope he gives up five earned this inning. Anything to convince Roenicke he isn't good and can't face lefties.

Sadly, I was thinking the same thing.

Unfortunately, if RR has not figured it out after 90 games, I don't suspect he will.

I literally want to break the swear filter here right now.

I've been 'mad' at this team before, but never so much as I am at both RR and Loe right now. This is so far beyond ridiculous, words can't even describe.

Everyone complains about Kotsay, Yuni, Nieves, etc., but Loe has done more damage this season than all of them combined. And yes, Roenicke is Yost-esque in his handling of the bullpen. This team needs to acquire an established set-up guy in the worst way, preferably one who has closer experience.

Yuni is debatable. Yuni has had so many plays he SHOULD HAVE made that causes a big inning.

Was that 4 lefties in a row, with Braddock sitting on the pine?

Yea, I'm not sure I go to Braddock, his velocity was down to 90-91 again last outing. However, at some point you'd think the coaching staff would wake up and realize that Loe is essentially a ROOGY.

Loe is gonna ruin this season all by himself with RR's blessing. Its time both of these useless idiots get shown the door. This team is going nowhere with RR at the helm. He has his favorites and thats the way it is. In the meantime us fans get too watch meltdown after meltdown.

They just added that exact player a couple days ago and RRR chose not to use him.

this is so madding to see RR continue to bring in this guy because he is the 8th Inning man.Someone better call down to RR and tell him he must stop using this Guy.

Why is RR not using a Lefty in these situations instead of LOE.

Yeah. I thought Montero was a switch hitter, but he is a lefty.

With a competent manager, guys like Loe and Braddock are really useful.

Loe has faced 86 lefties this season and 87 righties.

Which means that league has a clear book on Loe with him facing 1/2 LHers. Maybe someone should slip Roenicke a copy?

Hardicourt or Mcalvy needs to light up RRR after this game.
Problem is, I don't believe they will. This crap would not be allowed to continue by fans or media in a Boston, Chicago, New York market. This is part of the problem with being in the "nice Midwest". Colin Cowherd actually had a great segment talking about this a few weeks back and how the big market and East Coast teams are better because more is demanded of them by fans and media.

Now, granted the payroll and potential to make moves is easier there too, but it still doesn't excuse our media and fans from calling out a manager for terrible decision making.

He wouldn't read it.

Kam is his guy. Through thick and thin. Same as McGehee and Kotsay.
