I have to ask CO. Did you actually see the play that McGehee scored on? I'm all for being aggressive, but that was akin to Andorra declaring war on France. And Spain. Simultaneously.

Yes I did. There are so many things going on there. Maybe he got a bad jump, had some indecision, who knows. When you leave third you don't know how close the play is going to be. He read it and he tried it. It worked. If he gets one more step of a jump, he scores easier.

In case you were wondering

"Tony Cloninger set a major league record for RBIs by a pitcher with 2 grand slams and an RBI single for the Atlanta Braves in a 17-3 win over the San Francisco Giants on July 3, 1966."

No but sometimes you play aggresive and things work out and sometimes not. This team plays a bit aggresive and force the other team to make plays. They didn't make a mistake. The first baseman just didn't make a good throw. This isn't a video game. It's not a mistake when a fielder doesn't make a perfect throw.

There is never a time when you should be aggresive on the base paths when being agressive involves Casey running. Gomez, Morgan, Weeks, or Braun on third and they try that it can be somewhat justified.

Enough about this for now. Marcum is the man. I can guarantee he can hold a 6 to 1 lead. Cough, cough Greinke.

Probably the most unlikely hit of the season. 5 RBI for Marcum today?!?!?!

Awesome.

I actually think it is just 4. I pretty sure they ruled an error on the throw home on that "squeeze." Either way that is 4 more RBI from Marcum than I expected.

Edit: FSW just showed a fan with a Plush t-shirt.

I saw that too. I wonder how they got that. I tried ordering one of those from brewers.com in April and the order was rejected.
I think he has a website. He has all sorts of T Plush gear. He was talking about it on the Jim Rome show last week. I wish I had the details for you.

Time for Rock & BA to pull out the "within grand slam striking distance". That'd be more awesome than Yuni walking.
