This defense just lost me. Nice job Melvin...you have put together a wonderful team here. All offense, no defense and good pitching. Let's lose some offense this offseason and add at least a couple of guys that know how a glove works. This...team...makes...me...sick!

And poor Braddock is now on the hook for the L... unbelievable.

Why does Loe continue to be used in situations like this. The guy flat out isn't that good. Can hawkins get a look once in a whle please

Hawkins kicked RRR's dog and then slept with his wife.

At least thats the only explanation I can think of that explains why Loe keeps getting handed high leverage situations to screw up when Hawkins sits unused on the bench.

Ya - I agree. Loe is a 1 trick pony. You bring him in when you need a double play and that's it. He is good at getting ground balls. (not that it does us any good with our wonderful D though)

Braddock's guys are the tying runs, right, it's Loe on the hook for the L. I didn't have a problem with him coming in when he did but I did wonder why Braddock was starting the 7th. Where is Hawkins with his .5 ERA? I just don't get why he's never in there.

No kidding, second time Braddock was pulled mid inning with two outs in this series. Second time he has to watch runners he was responsible for score. Braddock has the stuff to pitch to left handed batters and right handed batters, and should be allowed to get out of his own trouble.

How many games has Loe cost us to this point?

It has to be bordering on double digits at this point. At some point Roenike needs to get a clue and realize this guy should not be our setup man.

And then you have Hawkins who has been lights out, and he doesn´t see the light of day in these tight and close situations.

Why can't our pitchers get out of innings? We can't seem to get that third out. Again, I am going to say that you can see a real difference between the way our hitters approach at bats and the way these American League teams approach at bats. They never concede a pitch. We seem to go entire times through the order without our hitters really focusing. I fear where we are going to be in the standings on July 25th. I just don't know if anyone in the division is good enough to run away from us.
