Yeah, Betancourt stinks. But you can't walk Cudduyer to get to one of the great HR hitters in the history of the game. Yo had a nice stretch there, but he was shaky early in the year and he looks to be reverting to that form.

It's a good thing this road thing is just an inexplicable statistical blip attributable to random variance that our human minds only wish to put into some kind of meaninful context..

And what's the reason they can't sit Casey for 2-3 games? Yuni for the same thing? At this point what do they bring to the club? 3 months of this garbage...so does DM and RR think "once those 2 get going we really will run away with the division!".

They didn't seem to have this much loyalty to JJ when he was struggling.

Braun is so good. Was just gonna post a question as to why he was taking that 3-0 meatball all the way, only to get caught with a tough second strike call. Then he goes and just rips it with a full count anyway.

I was just going to post something similar to this.

Dudes on his team should take note of his at bats. Braun is such a great hitter. He knew he couldn't do much with that 3-1 pitch and took it even though it was going to be a strike and he also knows he is going to get a better pitch to hit on 3-2, which he hammered. On the at bat before his, Gomez swung at a 2-1 pitch that almost hit the dirt. If he takes that pitch, he should be getting a fastball down the middle of the plate. Unfortunately he doesn't have that type of discipline
