Yovani Gallardo

9-4, 3.92

Gallardo returned to form as he picked up his second win of the month and was charged with just one earned run. He bounced back after a rough outing against the Rex Sox and will face the Twins once again in his next start.

Francisco Liriano

4-7, 4.98

He looked good early in the game, but a five-run third that featured a two-run homer, four singles, two errors and a walk dealt Liriano a loss in his last start vs. the Brewers. Liriano is 3-2 with a 4.05 ERA in five career starts against Milwaukee.

Wow, I really didn't try to line up the starting pitcher pictures like that. It would look cool if Liriano's arm wasn't cut off.

Those images are just begging for a R rated photo shop job

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

So protection is more important than getting guys on base in front of Braun and Fielder. Good job DPR.
Well, technically they can't drive in runs if they get pitched around. Can only have one or the other right now. Hart needs to be hitting 5th, so there's not much to do against LHP in the 2 hole. It's either hit McGehee 5th or Gomez 2nd. Both suck, so I'll take the protection. Gomez had a great game against Liriano last week too. I hate this lineup anyway.

Well, he could always put Hart in 2 and Lucroy in 5, or the other way around...Then again, the back end of that lineup would be an absolute black hole of suck.

McGehee is 12/67 with 12 singles this year against LHP (4BB). Ouch!

You also have the team records flipped around. And it says Gallardo instead of Brewers and Baker instead of Gallardo in the thread title.

I love how Morgan wished T-Plush a happy birthday. "Ahhhh, I gotta go!" will soon be worked into my lexicon.

I just remembered I have a Nyjer Morgan autographed baseball card from when he was a rookie for the Pirates a few years back. I have no clue where it is, but I'm curious to know whether he signed as Plush or Nyjer.

This is dumb. It looks like they could be playing for 1.5-2 hrs before it really rains. Instead we are probably looking at a 930-10 oclock start or a rainout. So probably a rainout. And it's not even raining.

I guess this may work out. Our middle relief is awfully thin and shaky right now, especially since we didn't activate Saito. Gallardo for an hour and then a delay probably wouldn't have been the best thing. The system looks to be moving pretty quick so hopefully they get started before 9.
