Ugh sorry but he's not getting hot. He's been terrible and happened to get a hit.

Yeah, swinging at a pitch way outside the strike zone and hitting a soft liner about 150 feet is not getting hot.

I feel like Yuni would be a pretty decent third baseman. He seems to have good footwork, good hands and a good arm. He's just not that mobile. Not to mention that he can't even hit at the level of an MLB SS let alone an MLB 3rd baseman.

Gomez with corn rows >>> Gomez with afro.
I think the corn rows look terrible. Gotta go either Weeks style dreads or straight fro for a speedy outfielder.

If Gomez played for New York, they would probably discuss the relationship between Gomez's hairstyle and his performance. I'm not sure whether or not this should be in blue...

Man the Twins' lineup is bad.
To be fair, Span, Kubel, Morneau, and Thome are out. And when they weren't out, Mauer, Young, and Nishioka were out. They've had an unprecedented run of injuries.

See, I've got to disagree with this. At least for that at-bat, it looked like Casey knew what he was looking for, and when it came, it was just a little further outside than what he had expected. In general, I don't know. There was a reason he was available on waivers. I'm willing to at least wait it out though. Anyone remember those half and half JJ Hardy seasons?

If Gomez would take that approach every at bat, with his speed and defense, he would be a superstar.
Sometimes I think they should just give him a DVD of every at bat Ichiro has ever had. I know they are very different players, but it couldn't hurt. Whenever I see Ichiro swing and miss I wonder how he'd EVER get a hit.
You may run like Mays...

With Hardy, he had history of being an elite player. McGehee has had one good season in his entire professional career, and it was a couple years ago. Hardy also brought great defense. McGehee brings absolutely nothing if he isn't hitting. When you have two guys mashing at AAA who could play third here, it makes no sense to keep McGehee up right now.
