It was a line drive that just went over the shortstop's glove
Thanks, it was painful to listen to, I can't imagine what it would have been like to actually view. I can't understand how someone can be this bad at the basics of baseball and yet still be starting most days.

Actually, just move Weeks to SS and call up Green to play 2B instead. That way you can leave Braun in LF.

It is fantasy land, but it puts things in perspective I think.

DFA Yuni, move Braun to 2B, Weeks to SS, call up Gamel to play LF. I bet that is a net gain in wins easily.
Sadly you might be right.

It will be sad to see Prince go next year, but I am excited to see Gamel finally get a shot to play full time in the bigs.

that was the worst inning of baseball i have seen since.. well... ever.
Seriously? That was bad, but not the worst inning ever.
The worst inning ever was the bottom of the 8th on 4/23 against the Astros. It included this gem:

Erick Almonte hit into fielder's choice

double play, third baseman Chris Johnson to catcher Humberto Quintero to

shortstop Angel Sanchez to second baseman Bill Hall to catcher Humberto

Quintero. Yuniesky Betancourt out at home. Jonathan Lucroy out at

3rd. Erick Almonte to 1st.

You may run like Mays...

Holy crap! A bat flip that wasn't a flyout to the warning track!!!

I initially got excited when he hit it but immediately figured it was 10 feet short of the track after his reaction. What a shocker that it actually went out.

I actually think something like this might be the wave of the future in baseball. Just have Weeks and Braun flip infield positions depending on if a left-handed or right-handed player is at bat. Weeks probably isn't quite good enough defensively to do this, but you could really hide a poor infielder and really show off a stud infielder by doing this, and could get another big stick in the lineup.

Haha, yeah that was horrible. I forgot about that until now.
