Gonna beat a dead horse here.

Hate the Lucroy can't catch Wolf thing with a passion. Had a day off yesterday, but now he still has to sit because he can’t catch Wolf. Lucroy has looked like he is breaking out of his slump, but now he is off for two days because of our #4 starter.

Don’t reply with your a catcher is never going to catch X amount of games comments. It makes no sense here. Because of this Lucroy will only be catching 4 of the next 6 games, and they have an off day on Monday. He should be catching Wolf tonight and the Kottaras can catch Wolf at Yankee Staduim to take advantage of that short porch in right.

Of course RRR would never think ahead at all.

Wanted to say this earlier, but I didn't want to jinx it. As others mentioned it's a lot more palatable when that backup is Kottaras...but as long as Randy Wolf is pitching well, I don't care who is catching for him (yes, i would still be fine with Nieves if that meant Wolf pitched 7 strong innings). It shouldn't matter who's catching him, but if it keeps him in the right frame of mind and keeps him effective....then keep Lucroy on the bench for his starts (he can't start every day anyway http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/tongue.gif)

Axford's last 7 appearances: 7 IP, 0 ER, 1 H, 2 BB, 9 Ks.

Last 13 appearances: 13 IP, 0 ER, 6 H, 9 BBs, 18 Ks.

He's in some kind of a groove right now.

This is just sick. I know he'll burn us at some point, but every closer does. When he's hitting his spots though, he looks ridiculous.

Good game. Nice to get a win out of that one. It was a beautiful night at the ballpark.

One moment I'm not sure if they caught on TV was when Mark Kotsay pulled some gritty veteran shenanigans on Joe Mauer. When YuniB hit that popup towards the dugout Kotsay sprung up to the top step from out of nowhere and parked himself on the railing to distract Mauer and not let him reach into the dugout. Kotsay then was smiling at Mauer as he walked back to the plate. I thought that was pretty funny.

The best part about that rally is that we'll see the top of the order again in the 9th if we need them.

I know what you meant by this, but it's still pretty funny..........

I think the best part was the score-2-runs-and-take-the-lead part.
