Wolf is really struggling with his efficiency right now. That's a lot of pitches to get six outs from a very bad lineup.

That Hughes AB was the only one that was annoying. Otherwise he is just painting the corners, an inch on or an inch off. The Twins are just being so patient that they are making him work. He's not exactly a guy who can just go out and challenge hitters.

The best power hitters in the game will have an ISO around .300 and anyone with

an ISO over .200 is hitting for power at a good clip. An ISO below .200

indicates that a vast majority of the players hits are not going for extra

bases.

Unless a batter hits so few singles that his BA is around .200 and is SLG is around .400, like Kottaras. Then a fair percentage of his hits are for extra bases, he just doesn't get many hits in general.

That is true.

LOL. Why was the Twins outfield playing so deep with McGehee up?

It would make sense if somebody with speed was on first. But it was Fielder. Scoring on a double is very iffy with him on first.

bad base running again,
I don't agree. I think the odds of Casey being safe are better than Kottaras getting a hit afterwards. Now there are other factors to consider (past balls, walks, pitch count, etc.) but I think it was worth the risk. It would have been cool if Yuni put more wood on the ball.

Good plays by Weeks and a quick inning.
