David Price

7-6, 3.61

Price struggled with control in his last start, walking five and hitting a batter against Boston on Thursday. However, he battled through it to give the Rays five innings, while giving up three runs.

Shaun Marcum

7-2, 2.85

Marcum exited his last start after a first-inning hip flexor strain and his status remains probable. He surrendered two earned runs in the first frame, but if he can go, the former Blue Jays hurler is familiar with the Rays.

Radio day = one of the few days when it's good to live out of market (although I would probably be at the game if I still lived in Milwaukee)

Not looking forward to Betancourt and Gomez against Price, but at least the cloudy skies will prevent shadow problems.

From the Rays fan site - comedy gold!

"The Brewers had no qualms about exposing Johnny Damon's noodle arm. At one point, Rickie Weeks

actually put on the bratwurst costume, rounding third base comically

slow as Damon's throw to the plate dangled in the air like a satellite"!

That whole write-up is actually pretty funny. It's It's here, for anyone interested.

Beating Hellickson & Price back to back would be pretty impressive.

Despite Marcum's good season this far; this is a pitching matchup that favors the Rays especially when you consider RR is keeping a close eye on the pitch count,

Yuni & GoGo should be "interesting" against Price.

This is so frustrating... Didn't they talk about televising EVERY Brewer game on FSN over three years ago? Wasn't this a goal of theirs? I realize that no one gave a darn about the team for a long time but this is now a winning ball club with many many fans. We put 40,000 in the seats on a tuesday but we can't get all the games televised? Embarrassing comes to mind. Again, frustrating more than anything, but i think i have the live stream bookmarked so hopefully that works...

"Then, in the second inning, Hellickson disgraced himself, his family, and his team, allowing Yuniesky Betancourt to not only get a hit, but a home run."
"Fiers, Bill Hall and a lucky SSH winner will make up tomorrow's rotation." AZBrewCrew

God Bless Uke...but hopefully this game gets out of hand so he can really shine. Fielder's hit sounded like it was going to be a single, and then suddenly it was a double play. Just playing with me.
