Here's why the save stat is so stupid, and managers are stupid in turn. I'm pretty sure Farnsworth gets a save here when he closes this out, which is certainly the only reason he's still in the game.

I thought so too but not quite. If your team is up more than 3 the tying run has to be on deck. When Farnsworth came in it was in the hole.

Niemann was also really mediocre this season. He seemed to handle the Brewers (lack of) bats just fine. I'm staring a 1-5 home stand in the face. And I don't know how they win 1.

On positive news, it was really easy to get out of the lot after the 9th last night. It reminded me of '02-'05.
