Randy Wolf

4-4 | 3.20

The Brewers had won four consecutive Wolf starts before a loss at Wrigley Field on Monday, when the lefty delivered seven scoreless innings but drew an unlucky matchup against career Brewers-killer Ryan Dempster.

Jon Lester

9-2 | 3.73

Lester is coming off his best outing of 2011, pitching eight strong innings and holding Toronto to just two hits and one run. He struck out eight and got ahead of 18 of the 25 hitters he faced with excellent command of both his fastball and changeup.

Good to see Georgie boy back there against the lefty instead of Lucroy. Surely Wolf will throw a no-hitter now.

DH Weeks

RF Hart

LF Braun

1B Fielder

3B McGehee

SS Yuni

2B Wilson

CF Gomez

C Kottaras

I guess I don't mind Yuni in the 6 hole against a lefty as much. That might be the worst bottom 5 of a lineup I have seen in a very long time.

The Brewers' lineup looks ugly at first glance, but to be fair, Boston's 6-9 isn't looking so hot today, either.

Also not many other lineup options facing a LHP. Morgan and Kotsay can't start against LHP, and Wilson is only in to give Weeks a day off defensively. Only real gripe is Kottaras starting against a lefty, but at least he's hitting 9th. Who knows, maybe he'll surprise us in his return to Boston.

Crap, the La Crosse Tribune listed game time at noon today. Now what am I supposed to do?????????
It was originally noon, but changed to 6 because of the Bruins parade.
Sorry, joepepsi, but the time switch helped me out for once, since I was at work this afternoon and would have completely missed a 12:10 start.

Come on, Brewers, the rest of the Central won't skid forever.

Wow, what a start. Though the cautious part of me reminds me that the Brewers scored two early runs Friday, too.

Of course, it's no longer Friday. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif
