To be fair he also was spotted 4 runs in two innings and has given up some hard hits. I would say he is on the hook for 2 to 3 of the runs, but you are right the defense is killing him

Also probably not a good time for Greinke and Kottaras to be pitcher and catcher together for the first time. There was basically no time for either of them to prepare.

Nieves can defend ok and not hit, Kottaras can hit and not defend, so I think Rivera may be the happy medium. Pretty good on defense and pretty good hitter.
