Chris Narveson

3-4 | 4.32

So much for the calls to remove Narveson from the Brewers' rotation. He pitched eight shutout innings against the Cardinals on Friday in a big series-opening win and contributed to the team's eighth shutout this season.

Carlos Zambrano

5-3 | 4.40

Zambrano had to go deep to give the bullpen a breather in his last start and threw 128 pitches over 6 1/3 innings. He says he's strong enough to handle it. What he also needs to deal with is not walking as many; he walked seven against the Phillies.

I've got a bad feeling that we are going to be pounded tonight. Like a 9-1 loss that was over by the 2nd.

Please prove me wrong. I'd really like a W (especially against a Zamb--o led sCrubs) on by birthday.

Kotsay is 1-9 against Zambrano so unlikely he will be manning CF tonight. Weeks is only 9-45 (.200), 1BB/19K against Z however, might we see his first off day since April 23?

I will just take a wild guess with:

4 Counsell

8 Morgan

7 Braun

3 Fielder

5 McGehee

9 Hart

6 UBet

2 Lucroy

I still don't understand why McGehee and Betancourt aren't at the bottom. I know Hart and Lucroy have been struggling a little as well but they at least put the ball in play and do so with some authority. Most of McGehee's and Betancourt's hits were groundballs that found holes.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Looks like a rainout to me tonight. Wonder if they'll play a doubleheader tomorrow or later this year?
Looking at the forecast tomorrow, it looks like they'll be lucky to get one in tomorrow. I had planned on going tomorrow, but changed my mind after looking at the weather.

Yeah, you're right. Hopefully we don't get two in a row rained out. I bet they'll find a way to squeeze in a game tomorrow. Probably will schedule a doubleheader or makeup game when we play them again in September.

Crap, I thought I was the only one feeling a blowout tonight. No it's not a rational thought, but I feel like Narve will give up 4 in the 1st and Z will get 11 Ks in 7 innings.

Edit: or there's a rainout. That works too.
