Nieves is so bad, he's going to screw up Lucroy, too

Ron Roenicke's BAC numbers when he's decided to start Nieves?

Amazing. Actually made me laugh after the crap-fest we saw tonight.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

I don't think Nieves is negatively affecting Lucroy. Lucroy's numbers are reverting to what he is offensively, an average major league catcher.

That being said we are way too far into the year to continue to ride with Nieves. We all remember Chad Moeller. In 2006, he was hitting .184/.231/.276 with 2 HR and 5 RBI through 29 games when he was outrighted in early July in favor of Mike Rivera. Let's hope Melvin doesn't wait another 3 weeks.

Let's play a game: What are the following numbers?

.149, .162, .178, .182, .200, .307

Without looking and after your Greinke hint I would assume it is Nieves' batting average lined up with all of our starting pitcher's batting averages.
Nope, it's their wOBA's. Needless to say, Wil Nieves was not having a good year.
