2011-06-13 Brewers (Wolf) at Cubs (Dempster) - [Brewers lose, 1-0]

Yeah, I guess I was thinking back to when both of my kids were born. C-sections. So, yes, it was a different room. Flat screen in there would have been boss. I would've had it on a Brewers/Packers/Bucks/Marquette/Virginia loop so my kids were indoctrinated immediately. It's hard to get them into all my teams when I don't live in Wisconsin anymore.

Ouch. Kotsay in CF again. That's all I'll say about the lineup.

Even with the Cubs being horrendously awful this year, these games are always a blast. As far as I'm concerned, the Cubs are the division leaders for the next four nights, Aramis Ramirez is still good at baseball, and Alfonso Soriano is not a bionic man. GO CREW!

No, Kotsay is in because he hit a homerun against Dempster back in 2002 when he was 26, which is somehow relevant to today.

I really don't know what to say about Roenicke anymore other than that I'm glad he doesn't coach the Packers. Rodgers would end up riding the bench in games where he had a career record of 0-1 and 3 INT's vs his opponent.

Almost game time boys. Wife been in labor since about 10AM. Thought the baby was going to come this weekend, but it didn't want to leave the womb until the Cubs series started. No need for congrats posts, I used all those up on Sat. when I thought for sure it was going to happen.
I think we still have $30 towards your child being named Yuniesky chickinbrickin.

Pretty sure Yuniesky Chickinbrickin is a better name than Darwin Barney. Can you imagine 7th grade for that guy?

Which of these is more likely: a) Wil Nieves getting a hit or b) YuniB not swinging at the first pitch in two AB's tonight? If I had to pick, I'd ride with YuniB, which is sad.

The fact Nieves is so entrenched in a roster spot blows my mind more than Kotsay in CF or any of the other stuff. You'd think he's Pudge in his prime defensively the way they talk about him.

In any case, hopefully Wolf can pitch a good game and we can take home a win against the traditionally stingy Dempster. Gotta keep the mojo going, right?

I'm at tonights game. Perfect weather. This could be a beautiful pitchers duelm. Looking for Prince to keep up his tear (currently and vs the sCrUBs). He's homered in over half the games I've seen him play down at Miller Park South.

Wow, looking at that lineup for the Cubs, I guess I know what Big Z was talking about when he said they were playing like AAA Iowa. That said, I'm always afraid of the Cubs and I hope the Crew doesn't take this series lightly.

Yeah, they are literally playing with a lineup half from AAA Iowa. Lol.

YuniB AB #1: Swing

Nieves AB #1: DP
