Brewer apparel in Madison?

PKBadger
Does anyone know of any stores in Madison that carry a good selection of Brewers merchandise? I'm going to all 3 games at Wrigley this weekend and I need some new gear. Since I'm taking I-90 to Illinois, stopping in Milwaukee isn't an option. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I don't know what you consider a "good selection"...but the Penney's stores have had more Brewers shirts than I've seen in years. (Note that this says at least as much about their selection in the past as anything.) Plus, their stuff is often on sale.

I'm going to West Towne in an hour for a haircut and will have a look, then report back this evening.

Also - I was in Dunham's at Westgate briefly today and was pleasantly stunned to see replica jerseys hanging in their window (Prince, JJ, Sheets, both retro pinstripe and navy), as well as jersey tees for the same players and a few miscellaneous styles of t-shirts (the latter looked like youth or anorexic ladies' sizes).

I didn't check prices, as I am not very much 'in the market.' I was just happy they had more Brewers than Cubs swag.

Thanks Hawing. I'm kicking myself for not going to the FanZone last weekend when I was at the Royals games. Should have picked up a Braun jersey-shirt.

Dunham's sounds like it's got what I'm looking for.

The West Towne Penneys has 25% off all MLB stuff. The priciest items were home (white) replica jerseys (Prince, Jenks, Sheets) whose regular price is $90.00.

There were some jersey t-shirts - Lee brand, not the brand they sell at the Fan Zone - whose price I didn't check (but they're 25% off), as well as some Yount retro jersey tees. There were also other, relatively generic Brewers T-shirts. Some came in a two-pack. The one I might have got for myself, if there had been any in ladies-type sizes, was a ball-glove logo on a t-shirt that was sort of faded denim in color (not in fabric). Those look nice to me.

Anyway - I hope you're not bigger than XL because I didn't see much in the XX-type sizes.

Hope that helps. And had you tried to brave the fan zone on the weekend, you would have missed too much of the game you attended. It's been jammed with lines out the door every time I've looked lately.
