That Gomez throw tailed sooo much, too bad, a throw on the money and they get him at home.

I know Yuni's hated more than almost anyone this side of Gary Sheffield, but we don't have the prospects to get Reyes and last time I checked Furcal was more fragile than Ben Sheets. While we are dreaming, I'd like a pony!

As long as Furcal can last about 2 months or so, we're good. I think he can. It's not like he's the long-term solution.

If he's injured, as he is right now, he's not even the short term solution. Oh, and his .212 average makes Yuni look like Jeter at this point. No thanks...

Infield in? In the fourth? If there is that little confidence in our offense, we need a new offense.
The offense looked pretty good last night. Major difference when we face lefties, and have no Nyjer, McGehee hitting 5th, and Gomez in the lineup. But with how bad they look so far tonight, doesn't surprise me that Ron put the infield in there.

Pulling the infield in I think is more indicative of the respect we have for Niese, not necessarily a lack of confidence in our offense.

And no, you don't pull Yo in the 4th after giving up just 2 runs. His stuff doesn't seem too bad - he's got a pretty small strike zone from Paul Emmel and is working deep counts.

Lastly, how unlucky has Rickie been the last few games? He has been scorching balls and hitting them right to defenders.

No doubt. Rickie's first 3 at-bats last night were all absolute ropes right to Beltran.
