I'm sorry but I completely disagree with this.

1 - technically that's true, one at bat doesn't really mean much for the others, HOWEVER, it can mean that a guy is seeing the ball well or seeing it poorly (take Prince now and Casey now as examples). He just as easily could have struck out or hit a HR but he had been hitting it well all night and has a very high average on the season as well, not to mention a PH was on deck.

It CAN mean lot's of things, but on average, it means nothing. That's what the facts say.
So you're saying that how a hitter is feeling at the plate has absolutely NOTHING to do with his next at bat? On pure math, sure that's absolutely true, but this isn't math. These are people. And how they're feeling, confidence levels, etc, DO have an effect.
Are you suggesting that the manager should ask the batter if he feels like he's going to perform better than average? Do you really think the answer will provide useful information to the manager?

I just think that saying that you absolutely NEVER walk the bases loaded is not a factual statement.

I specifically didn't mention that situation because my Mamma told me to never say never. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I will say that the facts suggest it's generally a bad idea.

The first one there to celebrate with Plush was Gomez. I like that.
I noticed that too. Obviously he's not going to be sitting in the dugout by himself with his arms crossed but Gomez genuinely does not seem bitter. I had my doubts but I think he's a good kid and I hope he still has a nice career as an MLB centerfielder.

This isn't the same thing but I would love to know if a bullpen coach ever talks to a guy like Axford whether he feels like he can't locate his breaking pitch and if the manager does anything with that information.

Morgan thought they were already winning in the bottom of the 9th!?! This guy is crazy and definitely not an "old school, keep your mouth shut and never smile type" I cant wait for him to do something that pisses off the Cards

Excellent. We got a win and hopefully Roenicke will finally realize Loe isn't some dominant shutdown reliever you can just designate an inning to.

Whoever said Weeks stinks in close and late situations is right. Dude has weak nerves. The 3-0 and 3-1 pitches he fouled back were meat. Luckily Nyjer picked him up, but it's getting old.

Does the Brewers' radio network still archive interviews? Anyone who missed that interview really should go back and listen. There isn't any good way to describe it.

I very much suspect it'll be available by tomorrow.

Dang, Plush. Dang, Brewers.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I thought it was interesting that Gomez was the first one out to celebrate with Morgan -- super pumped up and excited. I'd been wondering if there was any bad blood forming between those two as they compete for the same job. Apparently not....

What is the website? Looks like the old Brewers Radio Network site is dead.
