Sorry to be a downer, but the expansion franchise that entered the NL at the same time as the Brewers now has 1068 NL victories, 4 playoff appearances and a WS championship http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif.

Honestly, what is the point of bringing that up in this thread? We're all Brewers fans here, c'mon man. But seriously, we'll surpass them don't worry.

In all honesty, though, your post really made me laugh, Oxy. It achieve just the right amount of reality-fueled groin kick that it was funny (even if you didn't mean it to be).

Why wouldn't someone bring up an interesting point? It doesn't have to all be unicorns and rainbows. There is something to be said for being a fan of a historically bad team and sticking with them.

What makes this even more impressive is that there is another franchise that entered the majors in 1998. That team has won only 953 games! Sometimes it's easy to forget about the epic success of the Brewers over the past 12-13 years.

I'm all about celebrating the team's successes. I guess I just didn't really think that winning an average of 75 games per year for 13.4 years was something to celebrate.

I understand. It's just a milestone, that's all. 68 more victories over that time isn't a lot more anyway. We were bad for a lot of year, I get that. But we're good now, so I'll focus on the positives. Lol.
