To be fair I do not like Wolf so this might seem irrational but to me his style of pitching is selfish. It seems like he nibbles and worries too much not seeming to care about his pitch count. This of course will then tax the pen over the course of the year. I hate the nibbling and especially the walks. Even the best hitters get out 70% of the time, just make them get on themselves.

That's the difference between Wolf and Suppan.

I'd much rather have Lucroy pinch hit than Boggs. Boggs is pretty awful.

EDIT: As he almost hits a HR.

And it was almost his 3rd HR in a whopping 21 PAs. He's just fine in a PH spot there with no one on and 2 outs...an opportunity to add a run with one swing.

Calling sample size on this one... Boggs has never been known to be a giant power hitter.

Having to listen to Craig Coshoun this often this year makes me very happy that Brian Anderson in our play by play guy. Anderson has his faults, but he is much better than a lot of other options out there.
Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though
