Carlos Gomez always looks like Mr. Happy-go-lucky. I can't imagine what he'd look like if he hit a walk off HR, however unlikely it is.

Feeling good about Gomez leading off. If he gets on base, chances are pretty good he'll be the winning run. Contrast to Fielder and Casey leading off, I felt like they had to hit a HR for us to win that inning.

Weeks sure seems to make a lot of plays on the shortstop side of second base.

that's because the infield shifts for just almost every batter, many of whom are right handed...so weeks is always starting pretty close to second base to begin with.

CF for the Rockies trapped a ball on a line drive by Gomez. 2nd Base Ump. called it a catch.

gomez hit a line drive to lead off, ball bounced into the diving CF's glove. It was clear in real time that it wasn't a catch, and seeing it in slow motion it wasn't even close.

It not only was a trap, it wasn't even close. Ball bounced 6-8 inches in front of the glove.
