That was one of the best baseball games I've seen in a really really long time. I feel like I would say that even if I wasn't a Brewer fan (I probably wouldn't have stayed up til 1 AM watching it of course)...but obviously that makes it that much better.

I tuned the tv off and went to my xm radio and with the sound off anf just watched the score and outs and when it said final i got bumped and then saw the score and i started yelling an jumping around i got to my computer and i could barley type. what a game.

The Brewers have been one of the best defensive teams in baseball the past 2 weeks, their low error totals pretty much proves it.

 

Sorry but nothing bothers me more from a game caster than useless tripe like this.

Amazing game, amazing finish, of course we stayed until the end, Prince has now hit walkoffs in the last 2 games that I've been to. The last time I saw a walkoff HR in person was Jeromy Burnitz in 1997 and I'm sure this game will be just as vivid as that one in my mind 14 years from now.

 

Lots of people stayed until the end, a few people left in the middle of the 13th and 14th after they fell behind--tough luck, can never count this team out especially with hitters like Braun and Prince. Go Brewers!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone know where I could hear the radio call? I think it wouldn't have been Uecker but still probably cool to listen to if it's around. The roar of the crowd after contact was awesome on TV. Imagine the radio would be even better.

The call should be on the Brewers Radio Network podcast page by sometime tomorrow later today. The 5-20-11 Game Wrap will be a summary of the whole game, not just the game ending call, but having heard it live, it'll be worth the full play.

What a game, and I sat at the park through all 4 hours and 35 minutes of it, lol. It was good to see the blasts by Casey to keep us in it and YuniB to tie it up. Prince's shot was a monster.

 

You could hear a pin drop when Mitre gave up the run, then McClendon, but the offense picked those guys up. Clutch AB by Lucroy earlier in the game, too. Pinch running Nieves was kind of funny, but considering Rivera took one to the leg, it was prudent.

 

They'll need a strong outing from Marcum tomorrow, but this one tonight is to be enjoyed. During the game they kept playing the Macho Man "Ooooooh Yeah!" clip when good things happened. There were two sausage races, and a 14th inning stretch. Pretty epic.

We were there for the whole thing. It was well worth it. There is nothing like sitting in the front row of the field bleachers when your hometown bopper hits one 450ft straight over your head in extras.
