We made a conscious decision in 2009 to just stop following this story, wisely as it turned out -- it was just too tiring a matter, and two years later, is still spinning its wheels, just nowhere.

 

We're basically at the point of "wake us when they decide to break ground", and of course, there's no guarantee the Sounds would be loyal to a Brewer commitment if and when a ballpark was ever ready.

The team was just bought by new owners 2 years ago........

I meant to owners who would move the team. It's probably not feasible long-term to survive in Greer.
