That "slumping" Weeks? Over the week coming into today he's hitting .320/.393/.360.

Yeesh. Maybe it was the week prior. I just remember his average sinking pretty well. Wasn't he over .300 all season?

He had a bad homestand but he was the only Brewer hitting during the losing streak on the road.

Two more at bats, two more first pitch swings. Both probably should have been outs. This coming right after Harang seemed to have lost control last inning. And theres another two pitch AB. Seriously guys, you're not hitting the ball well, try to take some pitches, maybe walk or get someting to hit. This is absurd.

Already with a five and six pitch inning and on the verge of another one.

I'm feeling real good about this Braun at-bat for some reason. Call it "optimism"
Oh dear. Never again, my friends. Never again.
We won't blame you. Brian and Bill said Braun already looked to be hurting during BP today. Which makes me wonder why the hell he played tonight. But it's Braun, so I guess I'm not surprised. It's a shame if he made it worse because of it though.

My eyes deceive me - Gameday tells me that Kotsay stole a base.

Well the ump's eyes were definitely deceived. He slid into the tag.

Its clearly coaching telling them to swing early at Harang. Stupid players listening to the coaches!

Why was Dillard warming up? Narv-dog only has 70 pitches.
Looked like RR was going to PH for Narveson if his turn in the order came up in the 6th. Reasonable idea. At that point, there was a runner on 2nd and 2 outs, so Lucroy and Counsell needed to get on.

Rock just claimed that the "Brew Crew have really been flashing the leather." And that we've been really good all year except for the last road trip...
It amazes me that people on this board still do not understand that Rock and BA are forced to be homers and always talk about the good things the brewers do. It would not be good for the average fan, who makes up probably 90% of viewers, if they just listed all the reasons why the brewers actually suck. Even when they try to criticize Gomez or something they say he has been struggling a little bit.

They've been good in the sense that they haven't made a ton of errors. They've been bad in the sense that other than Gomez, and maybe Weeks, our defenders probably have the worst range of any team in the majors, both infield and outfield.

They might be following the plan and swinging early, but it's clearly not working. Gameplans can be changed....if we had a competent coaching staff that is.
