come on Randy you are better than that.

Honestly, I don't know if he is.

4.17 ERA last year, 4.4 ERA this year so far. What exactly were you expecting? He'll probably be overpayed next year but he's earned his money so far.

A 2 run lead in the first inning has never felt so insurmountable. We have been absolutely abysmal scoring runs on the road, winning on the road, and coming from behind. Please restore my confidence that we can do those things once in awhile.
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

That strikeout aside, Lucroy really does remind me of Paul Molitor when he's up at bat. Bat resting on the shoulder, relatively quiet (some activity, but then again, Molitor was a statue), and a compact swing that is mostly quick wrists.

I know Wolf was pretty good after the break last year. I just want some consistency out of him. It seems like he's either lights out or getting completely lit up.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Am I the only one here that feels like Wolf is constantly getting lit up, even though he isn't? Perhaps it's my irrational fear of another Suppan.

Yes, that's probably where my original comment came from. It always seems like he's in trouble. Even when he doesn't give up many runs, it seems like he's giving up baserunners and getting hit hard.

Is Foxtrax off or is this ump horrible?
I was wondering the same thing. Kuroda's sinker (I think) really breaks in late on righties. Either those outside pitches are fooling the ump or pitch f/x is not calibrates correctly. Kind of makes it impossible on Brewer batters, either way.

He's pinching Wolf

Not to excuse that home run pitch he served on a tee to Kemp, but the ump pinching him on a clear strike flipped the count and it ended up being 3-1 instead of 2-2, so Wolf threw a fastball. It was up though.

Wolf got pinched on at least 2-3 pitches and Kuroda seems to be getting a wider zone. Sure seems that way at least.

Wolf at least got on base. Now we need to make sure he scores. I have almost no faith in us doing so though.
