Randy Wolf

3-3 | 4.11

Wolf's stellar '09 with the Dodgers led to his big, three-year deal with the Brewers, and he'll face his former club on the heels of an awful start. Wolf surrendered 12 hits in 3 1/3 innings against the Padres on Wednesday.

Hiroki Kuroda

Kuroda threw 113 pitches in a win over Pittsburgh on Wednesday. The last outing he threw more than 110 pitches this year preceded his worst outing of the season, when he gave up five earned runs on 10 hits in five innings against St. Louis.

I love these West Coast night games. I'm on Alaska time and games frequently start in the middle of the day or even the morning for me which can make it really hard to get the full benefits from my MLB.TV account.

Hopefully Kuroda is tired from his last outing and we can put up some runs early...

Ya just moved to the Eastern Time Zone and dang it's tough on the west coast games. I did however enjoy going to bed listening to Vin Scully. Ueck is the man but Vin is a whole different animal. Poetic, amazing rythm, paints the game with his descrpitions......He's the man.

Lineup is out. 3 things stand out: 1). Hart is batting 2nd. 2). Lucroy is catching Wolf and batting 7th. 3). Betancourt actually moved up in the order and Counsell still isn't playing over him

2B Rickie Weeks

RF Corey Hart

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

3B Casey McGehee

SS Yuniesky Betancourt

C Jonathan Lucroy

CF Carlos Gomez

LHP Randy Wolf

Like I said last night I hate these late night games, I went to bed right after the game but i could not fall asleep, I was still awake at 315am tossing and turning and i knew i could not function at work with only 3 hours sleep so I called in today, I sure hope i can sleep tonight

While I'm not ready to cow-tow for Hart or Lucroy as the saviors of our season just yet, even if they start struggling again this lineup makes WAY more sense than what they have been trotting out there.

Thanks to Tom Haudricourt for ridding RRR on this subject!

Hart #2, Gomez #8. I have minor quibbles with how #6-8 are lined up but nothing worth getting into specifics about. I can live with this lineup.

Agree. I would hit gomez 7 and lucroy 8 and take some dude off the street to play ss and hit 6.........or better yet trade for jj hardy.

Why can't we go Lucroy/Gomez/Betancourt? If anyone deserves the #8 spot it is Yuni. Heck if this was little league Yuni would be our #12 hitter.

Luis Cruz really has to be kicking himself; or he should fire his agent for being a moron. I am sure he would be getting a ton of PT right now.
