Gorgeous pitch from Marcum there. Thank you for not bunting Mattingly.

Totally. With nobody out and crappy hitters coming up I think they needed to try and manufacture a run there (like on the woulda been close play fly out to Braun). I'll take it.

I love watching Marcum.

I hate watching Yuni.

The latter won't be on the team next year, don't worry. Hopefully at the trade deadline, we'll get his replacement for the remainder of the season. The Yuni at SS experiment has proven to be a failure, not that anyone is surprised.

Yuni is hard to watch.

I've honestly never seen a hitter with a worse approach at the plate than Yuni.

The pathetic thing is the guy actually has a decently swing and some pop for a shortstop, but he simply refuses to make pitchers throw him pitches he can drive or hit hard.

How many times does Gomez have to fail in a key situation before Roenicke takes him out of the 2 spot?
HE SAW SOMETHING IN SPRING TRAINING!

Just ask him. It was for almost a whole month. (I'm not making this up).

RR went to the charts to check the matchup. Has anyone seen anyone just keep those things on an iPad or similar device? Would that even be allowed?
I don't see why it wouldn't be allowed. Well, I guess I could see why not: MLB is afraid of technology.

Almost all of that is in software packages and has been for a while. just some don't like using them and rather have charts
