What a surprise, Gomez pops out.

Really? We're already talking crap about him? The guy has been pretty good so far this month (small sample I know). It's not his fault he's in the 2 hole.

This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

Vin Scully is the best there is. He's already taught me things about the Brewers today I didn't know. You have Braun's high school stats? He played soccer? Prince wasn't just named after the singer but also had a great uncle named Prince? etc., etc. Incredible.

I wish I was able to watch the game. Uke's the GOAT, but Scully is timeless.

I'm pretty sure that Vin Scully is either an alien or a robot programmed to compulsively read the media guide and describe the game of baseball. That said, his voice is mezmorizing.

Truthfully, as much as everyone criticizes Roenicke for keeping Lucroy in the 8 hole, I have to say it does make some sense. The 8 spot is really a difficult spot to hit in, and it is important in the NL. Everyone saw how Hardy struggled in the 8 hole years back. So it is good that Lucroy is hitting well in the spot. It definitely makes our lineup stronger. Now if only Hart could get going so he can fill the 2 hole. Then we'd have a very solid lineup. We just need to get Gomez out of that 2 hole is all. Doesn't have to be Lucroy to replace him if he's succeeding elsewhere in the lineup. I'd like to see Hart be there.
I agree with you completely because it seems like yesterday the topic of hate was the black hole of the 6, 7, 8 hitters
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

What a surprise, Gomez pops out.
I can't believe a baseball player made an out.
Gomez pops out quite often. All I'm trying to say there.
So when he runs down a ball that no one else in the league would probably get to, will you say "what a surprise, Gomez caught that." My point is everyone focuses on everything negative he does and not enough of his positive. Like many have said, if he was hitting 7th or 8th, his offense wouldn't be as big of a deal.

BA just made reference to Hart being fast. I know brewer announcers used to talk about him being the fastest guy on the team, but that was years and several injuries ago. When I watch him now, I never see that high-end speed and it seems to take a long time for him to get going to his highest speed.

Do you all think that Hart is still fast?

Yes. He just never really looks it because of his long legs

Geez, I make one comment and people automatically assume that I hate Gomez and only criticize him. He is great defensively, and I don't mind him if he's hitting low in the order. Either way, his crappy at-bats will piss me off though. All I was doing was making a comment that he pops out a lot. I didn't say anything else about him. He definitely brings value to this team in certain areas. I love his defense. I would just like to see him utilize his speed more with bunts and ground balls. He won't get anywhere swinging for the fences, but we all know that won't change. He is who he is.

That was a great first inning for Shawn.

Just have to say it's "Shaun." Not to be spelling/grammar police but I've seen you say "Shawn" in like 5 in-game threads already. It just bugs me when fans don't even know how to spell their players' names. It makes them look uninformed (not that you are).

Ok. I know he pops out a lot too. I'm just starting to get sick of people criticizing every mistake he makes but not giving him credit for the good things he does. I wasn't sure which camp you were in.
