There are too many interruptions here for me to really be able to listen to Gameday Audio, but peeking at Gameday and seeing 5-3, then peeking again like a minute later and seeing 5-5 is very nice.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

I bet the Padres are really kicking themselves right now for earlier when they had, I think 13 hits in 3 innings and only 5 runs
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

In the last inning, he called strikes at least 5 inches off both corners for them. Casey and Prince both questioned him. That's two on Casey now.

A leadoff double off Brauns glove. For how deep he plays, I think he probably should have caught that ball. Be nice to somehow keep them off the scoreboard here and get our bats back up there.

Weeks K's way too much for a leadoff hitter.

Of all batting positions where Ks don't matter leadoff is the place where it matters the least.

I knew I would be pounced on for that point, but I firmly believe it. 184 K's last year? My belief is he's only the leadoff hitter for 1 AB per game. When he follows the pitcher, who usually makes an out, any guys on base would be his responsibility to hit in. He K's at the rate of a 3-hitter which will be where he lands next year.
K rate is roughly proportional to a player's SLG. So if you want Weeks to bat 3rd because he has power, great. If you want him to bat 3rd because he strikes out a lot, that makes little sense.

Ideal scenario brewing for me. Wolf gets shelled and the Brewers come back to still win.
We. Get. It.

No need to include the fact that you despise Randy Wolf with every fiber of your being in every post. It gets repetitive.

I'm saying he profiles more as a #3 because of power and OBP. He profiles less as a #1 because of his K's. That's my belief.

Your belief is based on some very bad logic.

Really? So what you're saying is you have no problem at all with your leadoff hitter striking out 184 times per season? Ok, I disagree with your "logic" then.
