That ball to Casey, the second strike call sure looked out of the zone to me, that was a bad call I think.

I'm so glad we can have Nieves hitting. Sucks that Hart missed a HR by inches (though it should have been caught I think) and then Betancourt drilled a ball 390 for an out. At least we're somewhat back in it.

Mitre with a quick two outs here, let's get the bats back up there. I wonder if we'll let Mitre hit or not.

Terrible effort today from Wolf. To expect your bullpen to pitch 5 2/3 innings today after having them taxed yesterday is just pathetic. 2 stinker outings in a row from the $10 million man.
Right after 4 good outings.

Weeks K's way too much for a leadoff hitter.

As long as his OBP is up around .350 I couldn't care less

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Of all batting positions where Ks don't matter leadoff is the place where it matters the least.

I knew I would be pounced on for that point, but I firmly believe it. 184 K's last year? My belief is he's only the leadoff hitter for 1 AB per game. When he follows the pitcher, who usually makes an out, any guys on base would be his responsibility to hit in. He K's at the rate of a 3-hitter which will be where he lands next year.

Wolf should have known better than to have a bad performance today? What a silly criticism.

And this isn't 1995. $10 mil isn't much for a starting pitcher in free agency. It get's you a little above average starting pitcher on average.

Of course, when the game is free on MLB.tv, I have to miss half the game. And then, when I do come back, I'm logging on to BF.net when Prince hits the homer, so I missed that, too. At least Uke is the audio for the game, so I heard it.

Nice! I would gain a lot of confidence in this team if they can win a game where their starter stinks and they are down 5-0.
