I think I heard Uecker slam his fist on the table in disbelief that the Crew would run into a double play again.

This Brewer base running has been a joke this year. Whatever RR has taught them about being aggressive on the base paths needs to be untaught quickly.

No kidding.

I've been watching baseball for a long time and can't remember seeing a Brewers team make so many outs on the bases over such a small frame of games, and we don't even try to steal a lot. It's painful to watch.

Oh that aggressive baserunning is really something else, RR.

So you are blaming RR for Lucroy making a bad decision on the base-paths after a hit? Tough crowd.

These reoccurring baserunning mistakes didn't happen nearly as often with Macha. He had everyone glued to the bag. I am blaming RR for employing a more aggressive baserunning strategy that has failed in multiple instances.

There's no repercussions for them running into outs. These guys still stay in the lineup each game so I don't see things changing.

I'm starting to long for station to station, singles, no first to third baseball
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

During spring training, RR couldn't go 5 minutes without talking about how he was going to bring aggressive baserunning to the Brewers. The Brewers have subsequently ran into about 1,000 outs this year trying to grab extra bases. Fair or not, RR is going to get at least some credit for these outs.

I have no problem with the base-runners being aggressive, I have a huge problem with them displaying a complete lack of common sense. There was no logical reason for Lucroy to make that decision. That is on the him, not RR.
