About what I expected from Zack so far. Not sharp at all and very hittable. I knew the hype wagon would be disappointed today.
You expected the defense would suck and the Braves would dump a couple balls in for hits? I hope no one expected Greinke to strike out every batter but you really seem to be pressing your prediction a bit hard.

I always have that expectation.

The point is, that has nothing to do with Greinke's performance nor your Nostradamus prediction that he would struggle.

Lots of visible frustration from the Brewers' hitters. Not good. They need to calm down and get back to basics, this road trip isn't going to get any easier.

After watching the Cards continually come back to win (see their series in the ATL less than a week ago AND today against Florida) and also the Reds (see all last season AND Opening Day AND today against Houston), I have to say that they have a winning mentality that they're never out of a game, that seems to be lacking in Milwaukee.

Rock with a subtle jab at Gallardo with his comment about "top of the line starter" noting that Hudson and Greinke "trust their fastballs" and don't nibble with breaking balls early on in the counts to try and get up on hitters. And he mentioned they work fast too, whereas they just tried increasing the tempo of Gallardo.

Anyone else think that?

That fastball to McLouth was at 89 mph. I think hes getting a little fatigued. I guess that is what happens when you hurt yourself playing basketball and miss most of spring training and in your first game back have to pitch behind the Brewers defense.

Pathetic defense. Seriously, how hard is it to play average defense? The term average should indicate it's not that hard.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.
