At least the missed strike three call on Chipper cost them a run.

Very nice! Even though he stuck out that is one thing that you don't see often with this team. There are more single digit pitches thrown in a single inning for the opposition than double digit pitches thrown in an at-bat.

I'm very pleased that we have Hanson over 70 pitches through 4. The sooner he's out the better. He strikes me as C. Kershaw of a year or two ago, you need to get him out.

We're hovering around .500 while our best SP has been out all year, our second best SP has an ERA over 6, our all-star RFer is just now getting up to speed and we've (hopefully) got a very good #2 hitter back in the lineup regularly. If your on the ledge with this team on May 4th you may as well jump because you won't be making it til September

Like I said...vent alert. Sorry, but I believe this team is underachieving. I'm not expecting them to be 20-8 or anything. However, I expected them to be more consistent than what I've seen so far.

Agree with the OP. When you "Ace" has an ERA over 6 and there is little to no production other than Braun and Price there is cause for concern. Pair that with the fact that it is basically World Series or bust this year, and you can see why some members of this board think they are under achieving. Yes it is early and yes we have some player coming back, but I see what the OP is saying. Did anyone hope we would be "hovering around .500" at this point when the season began?

Anyone who thinks it's World Series or bust is probably not going to derive much pleasure from this season. And lots of people said they would be happy with .500 until everyone came back. I was certainly one of them.
