I disagree that he does ok to his left. I saw one ball where he looked like a fat man trying to touch his toes.
Let me rephrase then. He doesn't look as bad to his left as he does to his right.

And Yo's meltdown continues.........

For sure, RoCo...just wanted to pile on YuBet a bit there.

It seems like Betencourt does ok moving to his left, but to shots in the hole he just has no range. Of course, if Fielder holds onto that popup, that play never happens.

That's exactly the opposite of what people said last night, especially after he made that great play in the hole. I don't think he moves "ok" in either direction; at least for a starting ML SS.

Yeah, Gomez has basically been doing nothing at the plate. If be bats second again tomorrow, I'm going to break something.
strike outs have been down and BABIP is low right now at .275. Results haven't been there but he's better than his .233 avg right now. I wouldn't bat him 2nd but he's doing far from 'nothing'

You didn't keep a straight face while typing that did you? .277 OBP and a .587 OPS is about as close to nothing as you can get and still be in the starting lineup let alone the 2 hole.

you're right, Kotsay and Almonte are better options in CF, give me a break, Atlanta has 3 guys hitting .236 or under right now and they aren't half the defender Gomez is

I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

Would've been cool if someone caught that foul pop by Uggla

You choose that as the turning point of the inning? And not the walks? Come on. You sound like the Cubs fans blaming Bartman now.

I have no idea what the hell is wrong with Yo. Take out his first Atlanta game and he's allowed 66 baserunners (BB + H) in 41.1+ innings. Even with that game it's 70 in about 50 innings.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.
