2011-04-30 Brewers (Wolf) at Astros (Rodriguez) - 6:05 PM CDT [Brewers lose, 2-1]

I realize that, I just think its frustrating that Wolf can't or doesn't want to pitch to him.

Amen. Certain people here will make excuses or brush it off as "he needs to rest once every 5 days anyways" but nobody is getting fooled that it's continually on Wolf's day to pitch. First class douche and prima donna.

Plus the one time they were paired this season, Randy did all right (if I recall correctly). I was thinking before last Sunday's game, if Wolf gets shelled he should really rethink who catches him.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

well, when you do it this way you get lucroy his rest once every five days and you keep a guy who's pitching well (and making a bit of money) happy, which will hopefully lead to him continuing to pitch well. Maybe Wolf is being a douche or prima donna about it...I don't know and I don't care, so long as he continues to pitch well.

also, not bad corey hart.

I don't get all the fuss. Lucroy would catch Wolf it he needed to, but as it stands Lucroy needs a day off every now and then and Wolf feels more comfortable with someone who isn't Lucroy. Isn't it better that Wolf feel more confident on the mound?

OK, so you don't like Randy Wolf, message received. Would it be a correct assumption that "to teach Wolf a lesson" RRR should make him pitch to Lucroy instead of Nieves? Nevermind the comfort level of Wolf, or of the rest of the pitching staff. It's better to teach Wolf who's the boss!!

Thankfully RRR doesn't have the same alpha male attitude and is actually thinking in terms of what makes the team better, even if that means Wolf gets what he wants and pitches to Nieves.

Everything I've ever known, I've learned from Brewerfan.net....Seriously though

I took RR for his word. He's obviously cowering to his player. If you appreciate a manager who gives in to his player's every request, then you'll be very happy with RR.

Yeah, it was a good thing our league leading defense showed up in the first or else we would really be in "a" "hole"...oh wait.
Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

Has Wolf actually expressed dissatisfaction with Lucroy? Or was it simply that he liked pitching to Kottaras and we're reading in a bunch of things that aren't there?

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

The error didn't lead to any runs. I suppose if you include holding runners on base as defense (which makes sense), then you can put some blame there. But I think that was more a case of the astros manufacturing a run with aggressive baserunning than poor defense from the brewers.
