Fielder will always have a great OBP, but there should be a correction factor for how much he limits baserunning once he's on - having to go station to station when the bottom of the order comes up does limit run-scoring chances, especially in the NL when the pitcher's spot comes up often during RBI situtations.
To be fair, nobody would have made it to third from first on Hart's hit and Fielder had to hold up on YuBet's to make sure it got through.

I'm not watching on TV, so that's probably correct - making an observation outside of last inning though. To me, having a guy like Fielder on base all the time should put a priority on having a slugging #6 hitter in the order like Hart.

I knew he was in the top few. But what he said was he had to be at the top, if not the leader or something like that. I just don't know how anyone who follows baseball, especially a broadcaster, wouldn't know that Zambrano is easily the leader.
This is Jack Burton in the Pork Chop Express, and I'm talkin' to whoever's listenin' out there.

No worries. The Brewers will score 10 before the Reds score another run.

I just hope its today and not the next two days combined. (though not having the reds score for two days would be awesome.

5 today and 5 tomorrow would be fine with me.

This is the first time I've thought to watch the game on MLBtv while listening to the WTMJ broadcast on Gameday. When Bob is doing the play-by-play it matches up perfectly, but Corey is clearly a little quicker on the call.

HA! Castro checking his glove for holes I think!

You don't have an Adam Wainwright. Easily the best gentlemen in all of sports. You don't have the amount of real good old American men like the Cardinals do. Holliday, Wainwright, Skip, Berkman those 4 guys are incredible people

It's a negative, certainly but baserunnimg in general is a distant third in terms of runs, compared to offense and defense.

This game is on pace for almost 4 hours... does LeCure work really slow? Not watching on TV.
I tried to log in on my iPad. Turns out it was an etch-a-sketch and I don't own an iPad. Also, I'm out of vodka.

I was wondering why they didn't just double-switch out the third baseman - Janish is a much better fielder than Renteria.
There is no explaining the mind of Dusty Baker. Dusty is as Dusty does

man, it'd be good to get a win today
